Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Revenue Cycle Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the revenue cycle process, ensuring timely and accurate billing, collections, and reimbursement. Your expertise will be essential in maximizing revenue and improving the overall financial health of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire revenue cycle process from patient registration to accounts receivable.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in billing and coding procedures.
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for patients.
- Process claim submissions and follow up on outstanding claims to ensure timely payment.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues related to billing and reimbursement.
- Maintain and update patient financial records and ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure proper documentation and coding for optimal reimbursement.
- Analyze revenue cycle metrics and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Assist in training and supporting staff on revenue cycle best practices.

Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in revenue cycle management, medical billing, or related roles.
- Knowledge of healthcare billing and coding practices, as well as medical terminology.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in billing software and healthcare management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
