Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. You will play a key role in providing insightful financial analysis that supports our company’s growth and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely processing and collections.
- Perform financial analysis and budgeting, providing insights to management.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Prepare and assist in the annual audit process.
- Mentor and support junior accounting staff, providing training and guidance as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to support business objectives and improve financial performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation is preferred.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on general ledger and financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
